    Even the best coaches lose with poor qb play. With average qb play and a solid team in other areas it's still hard to win. How Much did tebow make U. M. look like a genius. It's easy to look great with a tebow. It's damn hard to look like a genius coach with a poor qb

    Gimmick offenses are protected by superior player(s). Urban has hid behind that for most of his career.

    At Utah he had Alex Smith: a certified big-time college QB that could have benefitted almost any school. And he did it against inferior competition mosts weeks.

    At Florida he had Tebow: a certified college football icon, a dominate player that because of his makeup as a person, you KNEW you would have him for the full 4 years.

    Florida's offense, although explosive for the past 5 seasons, is run by players who won't exactly translate into superior NFL players.

    ...kinda like a Texas Tech QB: you light the college world on fire and put up 50,000 yards passing in a season only to find out in the pros that they can't throw it accurately 40 yards...
