I wish I could say the same for Auburn - man, I get the feeling someone is going to get screwed before this is all said and done.

And yes, no doubt about Tenn getting the shaft! Look at FSU and Texas...

move up 4 spots on bye week...I'll take that.

I agree it appears that someone (possibly 2 teams) might get screwed this year in the MNC. Oklahoma and Auburn have the toughest roads because of the conference they play in, along with the conference championship games. If both win out, they deserve to be there, BUT Miami and USC have cupcakes the rest of the way and will figure into the mix WITHOUT a conference championship game. I hope it is all screwed up again this year so a playoff system evolves.....two years of controversy, especially if more then 3 teams are involved, will get things changed for the better IMO.

Well, this year the system could very well screw a Big 10 Team and an SEC Team - putting your hands into the pocket of these 2 conferences could get very ugly, very quickly. Lots of football left to play, but I smell big controversy ahead...

As for Tennessee, I don't get it. UGA stays in the Top 6, so they must be thinking that the home loss to Tennessee was respectable - my problem with this is that Tennessee doesn't seem to be getting a similar outlook on their win over Top 5, undefeated UGA on the road. How can the loss be respectable for UGA and at the same be deemed a so-so win for Tennessee? Tennessee did get waxed at home by Auburn, but Auburn is one of the Top 3 teams in America (in my mind).

Although the scoreboard was not all that indicative, OU beat UT into the ground a good bit. It wasn't a "Home" game for either team, but it was in Dallas - so why Texas at #9 and Tennessee at #13? Why FSU so far ahead of Tennessee? If I were a Vol I'd be hopping mad at the way things are shaping up - they could very well win the East and be ranked 10 spots behind UGA...

I don't think Texas did enough to leap over an undefeated Utah squad, thats pretty dumb.

Funny.. Georgia #6 in the coaches poll, but #10 in the ap.. tenn. #13 in the coaches, #11 in the ap.. LSU is still the top 2 loss team, but with so many 1 loss teams ranked so high, i wonder if LSU will jump them when they lose.. i seriously doubt it. I cant see Florida state, georgia, texas, or a few others being ranked behind LSU.

How does Boise State move up 2 spots to #16 when they need a last second field goal to defeat Tulsa?!?
