Great start to the 2015 recruiting season with 3 players in the top 63.

Hoping we'll be able to add Patrick Vahe, a 4* OG from Euless, Texas and cousin to the Teuhema brothers, to this list in the near future. He's currently committed to Texas but is expected to decommit from the shorthorns sooner rather than later.

Izzy, Thank You!! Thank you for all time and effort you put into making this board great. I appreciate the information that I've come to assume will always be there when I look. Because you're the kind of guy that starts the Official 2015 Recruiting Thread 12 hours before the 2014 NSD is done.

    Great job, as always.

    Thanks.

That list for 2015 is pretty exciting, don't you think?

How cool would it be to get the #1 recruit two years in a row? Very exciting. Considering where everyone assumed we were in early January this class is exciting also. Very strong. As others have said; if Brown did what he said he was going to do we'd likely flip places with the Gumps.

Looking at the 247sports composite ranking, LSU would have fallen 1 high four star recruit short of overtaking Bama if Brown had commited to LSU.

    Two things I love.
    (1) With respect to the gnashing of the teeth about La players not choosing the good guys, I think its the future. Kids are going to look around and some are going to see something they like, and that's OK. As long as we're a player for the guys in other states doing the same thing. And we are. We took the highest ranked player in the Big Ten footprint; two of the top 10 in TX; 1 of the top 5 in OK; 1 of the top 10 in FL, and were in on the #1 CA recruit until the last. If we pull top recruits from those states we're going to be fine. We have a presence in all the right places. Ohh yeh, and in LA we got half of top 10 and 8 out of the top 15.

    (2) The staff never quit, worked it hard to the last. They kept relationships even after the kid committed elsewhere. Thats how we got Teuhala (brothers) and Valentine. And they even recruited in the air. Is Dupre LSU's mile high club? Hell of a last month finish, but they put the grunt work in up front.

    Very Proud!!

Well one kid gets in trouble at Bama and another kid can't make the grade. Like LSUDad always said.........
