I was in class this morning and didn't get to go (Intersession is a drag, believe me) but a buddy of mine who is graduating today just came by and we spoke about the speech. He said it wasn't very political at all, and that he thought it was a very good speech about mostly leadership. My friend is also hardly a radical right-winger; he votes Libertarian most of the time and has been critical of W. in the past. Media bias, anyone? I probably just succeeded in getting this thread kicked to FSA.
Great. So glad there were no riots or anything. George W's Mom Barbarba Bush spoke at my graduation in 92, I remembered her getting Shaq and Geaux Tigers mixed up some how. No disrespect to Barbara Bush but that's a heck of a lot more exciting to have the President at your graduation. :thumb: ,
wafb news said that he was in attendance. But, even he, had to sit way in the back with the media folks.
