If you want to know why LSU baseball will struggle again next year its because they cant recruit their own state. And its easier than that because if they could just recruit LSUE they would be fine. They missed out on every player that LSUE had to offer.
They went after only 4 and gave them ridiculous offers which is why they will be playing against LSU next year. LSU attempted to sign Kyle Suire back in the fall to leave his team during christmas break and guaranteed a starting spot at LSU. Their low ball offer let him slip away to ULM. Another Low Ball offer to Corey Chapman let him go to ULL. They didnt go after the best shortstop in the state in Brandon Richey. Instead he will be a top draft pick next year at NSU. And the national leaders in wins is headed to Troy. They werent good enough to get Brett Durand either who they wanted. LSUE's pitching staff was better than LSU's this year and they couldnt get one players. If LSU wants to improve quickly heres an idea. Try making real offers to players you want to sign. People dont like signing for books anymore. LSUE is the next big juco. Will they be a feeder to LSU or the rest of state?

If a college really wants a player, they will do anything in their power to get him. Obviously they didn't want the LSUE kids too bad as well as other schools if they ended up going to ULL, ULM, and Troy. I know you are probably a mother of a son who plays ball at LSUE and didn't get a scholarship to LSU. Its ok to be angry, but please go to a LSUE board to discuss this because to say that LSUE can compete with D1 schools is ridiculous. LSUE isn't even one of the better juco programs so how in the world could they even keep up with D1 schools. Also when pretty good schools play juco programs they put in all of the true freshman or players that need playing time for the future. So comparing scores of games is ignorant b/c LSUE was just playing the 2nd or 3rd strings.

You're right Buddy, no one needs to resort to name calling no matter how stupid we think a post is.
