What is the discussion in Tigerland regarding Saban's interest in Notre Dame?

His name comes up whenever there is an opening in the NCAA or the NFL. He says he is happy where he is and is not going anywhere. PERIOD!

HE isn't going anywhere! simple as that. there is absolutly no talk here on campus about it. there also isn't any talk about reed leaving for the nfl either, but im still woried about him. As far as saban goes Notre Dame couldn't afford him. Their AD White knows this and so do their fans. If you read their discussion board they admit this. I think Saban is happy where he is. He has turned down offers before, Indinapolis Colts, and i don't see any reason for him to leave now. Last time the Colts job was up he was their number 1 canadiate, but they couldn't agree on money. If the Colts do go after him I don't think either side could agree again. He is staying here period! If u look at his recent statements he says that he and his wife like it here very much and plan to be here for a while. It could be a smoke screen, but i doubt it. Man it feels good to have a coach that other people want.

Saban is not leaving LSU for that pressure cooker - he would be a FOOL to do that! LSU fans don't have NEAR the expectations of him that Notre Dame would have on him or anybody else they pick. They are still living on the Four Horsemen, etc when they need to look out the window and see that things have changed in Division 1-A ball.

Not worried AT ALL. As long as LSU keeps winning, our coach and assistant coaches will always be rumored to go elsewhere during and after every season. This is the nature of the beast. If you are not good, nobody wants you........we all know that feeling all to well throughout the '90s, don't we Tiger fans???!!:p

Notre Dame reminds me of that Kansas song....dust in the wind. They are a has been.I think ND will end up "settling"on an above average coach but not any of their first 5-6 choices.JMO!!
