I figured that he's been lining something up. Good for Stud. Probably a good coach, just not a good fit here.

Man if they had only kept Crowton. Who's next the two headed DC Malveto? Dinardo?

Good comment. Studs had a good record as OL coach & OC at MAC schools when he was hired. I think he was the wrong fit as I believe his background is spread not power.

Also as Red said good for him and best of luck.

Studs spent 7 years at LSU, in coaching years, thats a lifetime. Maryland will be his 7th stop as a coach. I have a friend around his age that has had 11 stops as a coach. Studs has to feel somewhat good, had a great number of years at LSU, made good money, he did well. He has landed on his feet well. Best of luck to him.

LSU was good to Studrawa. It was his springboard to the big time after an early career at small schools. Maryland is a big school and a plum job.

His teams did run the spread but it was pass heavy. Omar Jacobs had an amazing season with Stud as the coach. Just seems crazy with him being an an offensive line coach and the offenses and offensive lines he put out at LSU. He must have had some good position coaches at BG or something bc it def did not translate over at LSU. Very interested to see how he does at Maryland, which keep in mind is now a big 10 school.
