Man, I miss the days in which we never had to worry much about TuLAME, but tonight's game has me a bit on edge. Big game tonight for bragging rights. The Wave has had our number recently, and it would CERTAINLY be nice to exact some revenge and reclaim the title as Louisiana's best.
Green Wave really has a whole new meaning since Tulane flooded with toxic water. :hihi: Now that's not right......Lord I apologize for that right thar.
I can't believe they are gonna throw their Friday night starter at us. Rick Jones really wants to win this game. By the way, it's Brandon Gomes.
I know it's on Cox, but does anyone know if it'll be broadcast statewide? I'm not seeing any listings for it here in Monroe, but maybe it's because their slow.
If you don't have Cox Broadcasting then you are SOL. My dad and I are going to the game. First, game I have been to in 8 years.
I heard through my Tulane connections that Gomes has not played in over a week because he had a blister on his throwing hand. They are out of sync on their normal rotation. Did not start against Manhatten. And God knows, he should have the way that game went for them.
I'm predicting a low scoring game early on with Gomes in but once we chase him in say the 5th or 6th I'm not sure if they are going to risk pitching their top relievers.:tigbas: LSU 6 Tulane 3:thumb:
I see a close game to the end. The teams seem to be pretty evenly matched this year. It should be a great game.
