Finished 24th with a grand total of only 6 four stars, 18 three stars, and 4 two stars. That's Mississippi State type numbers.

No longer buying into the Randy Shannon program?

Don't really blame them, but still surprised as heck.

you shouldnt be, Shannon is seen as too righteous and strict, he cant close the deal with alot of guys in South Florida. Needless to say his recruiting shine has worn.

the big time guys they did get just want to play for the U, but next year the Miami and Ft. Lauderdale area is loaded with talent, I suspect you already know this. So we will see, this is his make or break season. If Harris goes down, they dont have anything behind him, but Ali Highsmith's cousin, who really is an athlete, playing backup QB. He did play QB in high school but mostly running.

They had a shot on the last day to make it in the top 15 but came out 2nd to several schools on key prospects. FSU had a spark this year too which was another reason.

    FSU ALWAYS ends strong.

    That isn't the main reason.

    That was expected.

Miami falling flat on it's face, that's another story.

    They bombed on NSD.

FSU ended strong with guys Miami thought they had locked up. That highlights the problem and leads to other problems in closing and recruiting.
