Ive bought refurb laptops but never a television. Im replacing an old 42" panasonic which is basically a spare.

its a samsung 55" 4k and all that nonsense for 550. its 1400 on amazon. oh its from walmart.

actually the laptops costs about the same so i dont know why i view a tv differently. i guess bc i can fix a laptop.

i suppose ill get the walmarks warranty buy im thinking squaretrade would be better.

Just one of my few experiences with buying refurb electronics. Had a couple of refurb phones but I didn't buy them. If you carry insurance and your phone fucks up they don't replace it with a new one. They send you a refurb.

And yes, I would buy a refurb TV if the picture was good and the price was significantly less than a new one.

I bought a 60 in refurb, 4K smart fucker from this cat that this is all he does. Paid 750 out the door with 3 year warranty on a unit that values 1500 on the market. Dude will purchase returns for whatever reason and the thing is, they all have to go through the rigors of QC to go back out on the market, any market. They can't sell it retail because it is a return, so there is a secondary market for them. IMO, they have been through a double redundant all points system analysis with whatever bugs worked out whether the bug was there or not. Already it is better than retail because you don't buy the bug that may be there. Shit got worked out, warranty is equally as valued as retail, so what's to lose? Get a cat that backs the product by coming to get it himself and drive the swap process and you are mega golden.

My luck the one for $750.00 would be shit and I'd have to go back and get the one for $1500.00; thus, be out $2250.00.

After like the 3rd time they simply give you a new one.

3 yr warranty was 96 bucks more.
