Probably good news. Not sure who wants to see Northern Illinois in a BCS game again. FYI, Jordan Lynch will probably not get invited to the Heisman ceremony. That opens it up for someone like Bridgewater, who deserves it quite frankly. Baylor is probably the leading candidate to benefit from this (should they beat Texas). Michigan State also benefits if they lose to Ohio State, as they now stand a better chance at finishing in the top 14 in the BCS even with the loss. So the Rose would be happy. If Ohio State would lose, then Ohio State is an easy choice for an at-large along with Clemson (ACC Orange Bowl Replacement) and Alabama (Sugar Bowl SEC Replacement). Ohio State against Clemson in the Orange or Okie State in the Fiesta. My guess is Fiesta. Question is where does Baylor go? They certainly can't play Okie-State again in the Fiesta. If I were the Sugar, I would get a Baylor/Auburn matchup if Auburn wins the SEC and if Ohio State goes to the NC. If Auburn or Missouri goes to the NC, then I see Baylor playing Clemson in the Orange Bowl. Ohio State to the Fiesta, as I said earlier. So that's my final prediction: BCS CG: FSU vs Missouri Sugar: Alabama vs UCF Orange: Clemson vs Baylor Rose: Michigan State vs Stanford Fiesta: Oklahoma State vs Ohio State
My adjusted predictions: BCS CG: FSU vs Missouri Sugar: Alabama (at-large SEC replacement) vs Oregon (at-large) Orange: Clemson vs Ohio State (at-large) Rose: Michigan State vs Stanford Fiesta: Baylor vs UCF Baylor vs Oregon. The two fastest offenses in all of college football. Both teams may eclipse 100 offensive snaps in that game, which would be a first time to ever happen most likely.
I agree with you but all the experts are saying they will choose UCF. Alabama vs Oregon. I would think that would be a big ratings win.
You know if Clemson, Mizzou, and UCF go to the BCS South Carolina will have beaten 3 BCS game contenders in that same season. If Mizzou, Clemson, and UCF win their bowl games I think South Carolina will be 1 of 2 teams to ever beat 3 BCS bowl game winners in the same season. The other is LSU 2011.. West Virginia, Oregon, Alabama.
Baylor trying everything in it's power to give Texas a chance. How in the hell do you commit a 15 yard penalty on a Texas FG attempt that would make the score only 20-6. So now it's 20-10 instead. Baylor should hold on, but that was probably Texas' only hope at a comeback was to score 7 there.
