For those that thought A&M was going away as soon as Johnny Fooseball left, think again. This is what Kevin Sumlin does. The "new" QB is on pace for 54 completions and 600 yards passing. Their defense is still suspect, but if you score 50+ points, it probably won't matter.
My first reaction was no way. But after listening to the half time interview, I'm not sure Steve knows it's Thursday, much less how to stop the Aggie passing attack. If I was in Vegas I would be tempted to drop a buck on the over on both stats.
The bright spot of this game is Marcus Spears on the panel. Geaux Marcus!! Finally an LSU guy on a panel.
USCE had to replace from last year, 3 of the starting 4 on the line and both CB's. No push with the DL, and no good CB's is being felt by them. USCE is playing the a&m WR's way too soft, LSU mans up on the WR's. Look at Mike Evans last year. LSU jams, throws off the timing routes. The offensive genius that is Kevin Sumlin Never beat Chief, an won't this year. More of the same.
USCe is ranked 9th and playing at home. No excuse to give up what appears to be well over 50 points and over 700 yards. Chief is a defensive genius and has won both battles handily. Will be great fun to watch round 3.
I see the Old Ball Coach's D staff made the necessary adjustments at half time. I hope the Aggies beat 'em by 60.
