Not a commit but coming for a visit next week. I suspect they will ask him to come back for camp but he really wants to be here.

Measured him and was a little smaller than reported earlier in the year so LSU took his commitment as a LB. He was a the NUC combine last week and his 6'2 measurement was a surprise. Glad they got him down before accepting the commitment.

You're saying if we found out he was 6'2" tall, we would not have wanted him?

Eh, you're too tall for our blood kid, scram!

"It was great," Rhaheed said of the visit.
"Talking to coach Miles and the NFL
players were the highlight of the day. It
was really exciting. He was excited about
my film. He watched it a couple of times.
Feels good to be a Tiger!"

No, LSU and most programs around the country thought he was 6'4 215 DE and then went to the combine in Florida a weeks ago and came in at 6'2 205 LB. Basically a Tahj Jones now and not a Mingo coming out of HS.

Hence the reason intial commitment was not accepted and LSU wanted to lay eyes on him. Then offering him as a LB instead.

This is one of the few beefs I have with defensive players at LSU and in the pros.....They go for the knockout blow and they don't tackle anymore !!!
