Plenty bites to make a limit this morning but a lot of short strikes meant I couldn't turn those into fish in the box. Just half hearted swipes at it and didnt matter what I threw it was the same result. Several fish hooked in the side and top of the head from swipes instead of eating it. Wound up with 8 solid specs 15-22 inches and a good mess of big white trout. Plastics. Come on now guys I feel mighty alone in here. I know I can't be the only person on an LSU forum that is fishing.
I would love to be going, just don't have the time these days. For me to go, it's an all day thing and I just don't have a full day to go. Looking forward to the 3rd week of July. My BiL is getting a new bay boat and has promised a trip.
