I think that'll help. Bama is solid but not as good as last year, imo. I think we'll beat them in Death Valley. Just my opinion. I expect our defense to really get after McElroy.

Offense has to damn improve. We have the defense to win a national championship. I know Newton and Auburn racked up a ton of yard yesterday but all that matters is the point total...24 points. Offense couldn't sustain drives and not scoring on that opening drive (INT) was huge.

I agree. This team having 2 weeks to prepare, get healthy, and lick their wounds will be amped and ready to redeem themselves. We lost to, what is now the #1 BCS team in the country, obviously beating us proved a lot to the voters and system. Believe it or not that is actually a compliment. To jump a team 3 spots due to a W, means they beat a highly regarded team. Most won't see it that wat, but that is what it is. Also, the fact that we only dropped 6 spots shows they were impressed, to some degree, with our performance.

That's the 1st sign of any respect we've received all season IMO. Funny, in a loss we get more respect than when we were undefeated.

Bama has the week off, too.

Wonder which staff can do more with time available?

We'll do better against 'Bama's pro-style offense than we did against Auburn. Much better.

If our guys are fired up and ready to play, we can win the game.

We'll have to move the ball and make plays on offense, which is always hard for us to do, no matter who we're playing.

I think Miles and Saban ought to have a no holes barred fight this weekend. Might sell a lot of tickets.

I'm telling you, Alabama is going to be in for a dog fight. We are going to surprise a lot of folks.

I think so too. Has the game time been announced yet?

I think we match up better with 'Bama... but what do I know?

Believe it or not the dude is pretty punctual. In all games I've worked and waited for the team escort they have been early or on the money. And I'm talking to the minute...if the schedule says 4:35 arrival you can bank it won't be one minute later.
