As much as he may seem like a goof at times when public speaking, he does know how to handle questions that can get him in trouble. I wonder how many times he looked at her boobs when she was interviewing him. I know I would have to, because it sure would be hard to keep eye contact with those distractions.
He is a spinmaster. Bill Belichick is really good at that too, having a question asked to him, and he gives you a bunch of pauses and drawn out words, so he can formulate a PC answer in his head on the fly. If you are married, you know how to do this as well, but you use alot of "uh"'s and will ask your significant other to repeat. By doing this if lets say your wife asks you..... "honey do I look like i have lost weight..." your reply...... "huh?" knowing that the "huh" was a way to give you extra time to formulate a good answer. It's a stall tactic.
