After watching this season unfold I have to say that I have become a CLM fan. He took this team through the SEC without a QB and a OC and went 10-2 Plus he beat Bama and Florida. I also believe He really loves LSU and he does not want to go anywhere. (why else would he take so much crap from the fans and the media). So here's to CLM! congrats for a great season and I hope you have many more.

I don't think so...I think Dan is a real LSU fan who is beginning to appreciate Miles for his accomplishments and is changing his point of view. :tigereye:

How can one not think that this the best coaching job that Miles has done since being in Baton Rouge? Only thing on par is the Katrina year.

It really is amazing what LSU accomplished this year considering.

Amazing what 10 wins does to the doom and gloomers. They either disappear or get religion.

I like Miles, I always have, but if he does not replace Crowton and Studrawa and we have the same results next year he is going to lose me.

Until he post 10 wins in 2011 and loses by a touchdown to two top 5 teams...

Not trying to be difficult, but Miles will never commit to the type of offense all of us want to see. It is not in his DNA. He will have gaffs and blunders, he will take risk that do not work out. It is tough to get 10 wins in the SEC even if you have the best team.

Look at Bama this year. They have a Rhodes Scholar QB that can throw the ball and even run a little, 2 of the best running backs in the country, a huge OL and a very talented Defense with no holes... a coach that everyone things hangs the moon. And the best they can do is win 9 games (this year).

I am not so sure all the offense problems can be blamed on Crowton the last couple years. There are plenty of rumors that Miles has forced his will on Crowton. Crowton has not had the brightest field generals directing his offense either. Will a new OC fix these problems? Probably not. Miles will continue to be Miles and new QB talent is on the way.

The defense was broke a couple years ago and Miles fixed it. I have faith he will fix the offensive problems this year. Whether that is replacing the OC or just getting the talent he needs at QB, I have faith he will make the right decision. But that still does not mean we are guaranteed 12 wins next year. If we are in the BCS talk the last week of the season I am not sure how the head coach loses your support.

PS I am all for replacing OL coach.

I'm still not convinced. Unless he makes changes to improve the consistency of our offense, his head will be on the chopping block again next season.
