    Go down to the chain link fence around the field before the game while the visiting team is warming up or as they come thru the tunnel take part of some tiger bait taunting at its best. It's kind of cool to see visiting teams from smaller schools come on the field before the game and look into the stands in amazement. I can still remember my first tiger game as the tigers took the field, the roar of the crowd. It was so loud I could literally feel the sound waves reverberate thru my body. You should have alot of fun this year at tiger stadium. There will be some great games. The opener against VT , not this fall but next will be one of the rowdiest places you've ever seen on earth. I have a feeling tickets will be very hard to come by for that one . That game will be the ultimate tiger experience.

    I have been to 3 games prior. I enjoy watching the football team walk down the hill to the stadium. A few beverages later, the band is awesome when they stop and play as they enter Death Valley. That really got us going! Then, we watched Mike load up and make his way...GREAT STUFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I want to to do what you said, texascajun. As close as I came to that was when South Carolina's bus pulled up to the stadium last year.

    19TAMU98, do yourself a favor and go to the first two home games(ULM,W.Ill) just to get used to the atmosphere. Then go to the Georgia game and watch all hell break loose. It's really hard to describe how hungry Tiger fans get for that first SEC game. There's not any bad blood between LSU and UGA, so the tailgating should be family friendly. You'll really be able to appreciate Louisiana hospitality. And during the game, if you don't get cold chills at least a dozen times, go back to Texas.

    Really 19TAMU98, Tiger Stadium is something very special. These will be some of the fondest memories of your life, so enjoy them with people you're close to.

    Geaux Tigers!

    I agree with PaulP, 19tamu98. The first game of the year is great for everybody that has been waiting with baited breath for months TO GET IT ON! I'm sure it was the same at A&M. Also, the first SEC game is the first battle in an all out war. So that should be a must attend game. As far as Georgia fans go I have had good experiences with them myself. While tailgating I have yelled and taunted them with some good natured tiger bait chants and went up and intoduced myself and had civil conversations(that is just my personal experience. ) What three games did you see?

    We aren't that bad. I remember tailgating outside Death Valley for years railing the Ole Piss and Bama fans. The UGA fans I met during those games werent that bad.

    But...I will admit that like every big school, we do have the redneck idiots. So, watch out....woof woof

    Also, the game is at freakin 11am central so i doubt anything bad will happen..

    2002=UT/Memphis?
    2001=University of Alabama Birmingham

    For the 2001 UAB game, everyone that said they were going to go with me backed out last minute...I was still determined, so I went on my own. The 5 hour drive led to a loss on a Josh Booty interception. Nevertheless, I knew right then and there that LSU was for me. Hey, when you buy a single ticket, you get a great seat!!! I went to the ticket office and found myself sitting on the 50 yard line just above the Tiger bench!

    I am truly sorry that you had to see booty in action. On behalf of all tiger fans. I APOLOGIZE. At least you had a good seat. That is the mark of a true fan that you went solo when everyone bailed on you.
