Poker on TV has gotten pretty popular. It will get better ratings than LSU-Ole Miss would everywhere except Louisiana and Mississippi. Look at it like this. If Texas were playing Nebraska in a key Big 12 series would you watch? Especially with Game One of the Lakers-T Wolves about to start?

I'd watch Texas-Nebraska in College Baseball. By the way, Yanks-Rangers on Fox SW is another option.

I forgot about that. Its A Rod's first trip back to the Ballpark. They will be booing him mercilessly.

Poker on TV might have gotten popular, but I don't think I know anyone personally who watches it. Yes if Texas was playing Nebraska I would watch. Most of the baseball game will be over by the time the NBA starts tonight. As they do with football, they could adjust the starting time for the baseball game to fit the TV schedule. Poker on TV SUX.

I know lots of people who watch TV poker. I would probably watch a good college baseball game not involving LSU over poker myself but if everybody felt like we do the ratings for college baseball would be higher and they would show more games.

That's because you probably don't know anyone that plays the game. I love the WPT and know a lot of people who watch it. I think the networks know what they are doing. Poker just attracts more attention, nationally. It's a no brainer.
