First of all LSU football has always been number one. I can remember Jerry Stovall playing as well my favorite, Captain Billy Ezell, Pat Screen, Andy Hamilton, Warren Capone, & Bert Jones (my other favorite). When I attended LSU, I started following basketball. This years’ football team is up and coming & I had more fun pulling for the basketball team this year, than I have in quite some time.
I can also remember when we had one of the best men’s gymnastics teams in the nation, & one of the best wrestling teams in the SEC.
I was pissed when they dropped both of those programs possibly to support women’s sports....
But I have to tell you, I truly enjoyed watching this years’ women’s gymnastics and beach volleyball teams.
    Geaux Tigahs!

I graduated from HS in 1965 & joined the USAF in 1966. I wasn't able to follow LSU athletics very closely for 20+ years. I retired from the USAF in '86 and with the advent of the Internet and expansion of cable TV I have been able to see a lot more of LSU sports. Now that I'm retired I have more time to watch.
