Question, Someone had mentioned "LSU please prevent Texas from becoming the only school to win a National Title in Baseball, Football and Basketball" Well this holds true for LSU correct, still a long way to go, but is it true if (big if) LSU can win two more. Will they be the only school in history to win Basketball, Football and Baseball National Titles ???? Just curious..
A question to people who may know, has any other school except Ohio State won all 3 at any point? I only did a quick scan but I noticed that they were the only ones right off that had done so. Cal has some FB titles after the fact, from like 1920-1922, but does that count? I don't feel like going through it all, but I think LSU could really become the second team to do it if they win the basketball title.
Well, add Michigan to that list. I am going to figure out how many have done it and then let ya'll know.
Ok, here's the deal. Ohio St. and Michigan have done it normally, Cal and Stanford have done it with retro-active titles in football. And if both the LSU men's and Women's team can win both national titles, LSU and Stanford will have been the only two to win football, baseball, and men's and women's basketball, with Stanford's being with a retro-active football title. So LSU could theoretically still do something that nobody has ever done.
