    Was great to see today.

    I was at the game.

Any question as to whether Mr. Jenkins will end up at FS or CB ended today for me. This guy has the capability of being that cover corner so many teams covet. He was tremendous today. Should have had 2 picks instead of just 1. The one he did get was quite spectacular and athletic a play as you will see out of a corner.

Lots of good pressure from just the front 3 or 4 (depending on what alignnent we were in). Williams went primarly for coverage defense today and it paid off big time. We forced Josh Freeman to make plays and he could not come through.

It looks like we came out of the game healthy except for maybe Torrance. I think he suffered a shoulder injury of some sort.

The 2 headed monster of Bell and Thomas reared it's pretty head again today. Nice to see.

The only team to stop the Saints offense appears to be the Saints themselves. In 3 of their first 4 punts the Saints offense was stopped by 2 dropped passes that had first down yardage and Pierre Thomas slipping on a cutback that would have certainly yielded a first down.

I thought I heard the WWL Point After crew say Jenkins got hurt today. Does anyone know anything about that, or did they mean Torrence and said Jenkins by mistake? And did anyone see McCallister play at all?

someone said this is the Saints 1st opponent in a few weeks not to be coming off of a bye week.

might have something to do with the last few teams looking as good as they have against them.

I really can't wait to get the secondary healthy and have Ellis back in the middle.

We brought the pressure today once we had the lead and the young QB couldn't handle it. Tom Brady is no rookie and will be able to beat some of the pressure.

We need to be healthy and play mistake free football next week. I enjoyed the running game today. If we can continue doing this, I like our chances this week.

Dallas has not looked good, we saw Tampa today (not a good team), Atlanta has fallen apart, Carolina is not the team they were last year, and Washington (although recently playing better) is not a very good team.

The Saints are very close to securing a playoff spot and could clinch the division next week. They'll now need to play for home field advantage and also try to rest/protect starters.

Boy, those aren't concepts familiar to most of us. Nice to see that these are the considerations for the Saints this late in the year instead of the usual talk about how we still have a "mathematical" chance if we _____ ,or having already been eliminated from the playoffs by this time of the season. Saints 10-0, wow, thought I would never live to see it, but ever year since I was 6 years old (I am 43 today!) I have always begun the year believing "this will be the year". Well, this may be the year! Finally!

I think we played well and forced the rookie QB to beat us, which he couldn't. Tom Brady will be a different story, though. He'll hit those open receivers that Tampa's QB couldn't find.

And Torrence did hurt his shoulder. Looks to me like it subluxed out of joint when he pushed that receiver and they popped it back it. It was kind of a freak accident. They are calling it a "stinger". Well, I guess it does hurt.

    Torrence was placed on IR.

Gay had a pulled hammy but my nephew told me tonight it was a torn hammy.

I sure as hell hope not.

McAlister was inactive for the game. We are getting him prepped to make his debut vs the Pats.
