Where can we expect Marcus Spears to play next year? I like him on the D-Line but can't help thinking he could be a dominant TE and/or short yardage FB also. I keep hearing different views on where he may play. What about Ronnie Prude? I heard someone say before the season that he could be a first-rate SEC cover corner. I'm not sure if this is accurate, but another person told me that Saban claimed Prude is one of those players that makes everyone else look like they're running in slow motion. If we had one guy that could lock up the opponent's top WR each week, it could make our entire defense seem that much better.

Spears will get a chance to play both ways next year, but Eric Edwards has waited his turn and will be the top Tight end. They also have David Jones, who has looked very good in practice.

Prude will be a corner. He stated out at receiver but they quickly moved him to corner early in fall practice. He is a little light, and needs to hit the weights, but very good cover guy.

The next few years are looking pretty good for us with these freshmen that we have and this recruiting class.
