I’ve got a pretty good idea given each’s background and body of work

You do? The Saints were doing just fine before Brady got there and he was only an assistant for the Saints. What is Brady's "body of work" at LSU? Seriously what has he proven in the 2 months he has been at LSU? Was the passing you saw at the spring game Brady or E?

A little info about the guy most of you live to hate. Give E the players and he will make you ashamed of your view of him. Brady might turn out to be great but hasn't proved squat at LSU yet.

Prior to Ensminger taking over play-calling duties in 2016, LSU's offense had scored only nine touchdowns and was averaging 18 points and 339.5 total yards per game. In eight games under Ensminger that year, LSU improved drastically in every offensive category as the Tigers averaged 32 points and 464.9 total yards per contest during that span. LSU scored 38 or more points five times under Ensminger, including 54 in a win over Texas A&M and 38 against both Arkansas and Ole Miss. The Tigers averaged 7.1 yards per play and converted 46-of-102 third-down opportunities during that eight-game stretch.

Also under Ensminger, LSU's offense set school records for yards in a SEC game (634 vs. Missouri), single-game rushing yards by an individual (284 by Leonard Fournette vs. Ole Miss, 285 by Derrius Guice vs. Texas A&M), longest run from scrimmage (96 yards by Derrius Guice vs. Arkansas) and time of possession (42:33 vs. Missouri).

BTW all of the above was accomplished without any off season work with the team as OC as he was thrown into the OC job overnight. Any of doubt that fact?

I'd say Clemson does. Bama, not so much, though they are more modern than us. What they have is a strength program that makes us look like a middle school team by comparison. I've made that point several times over the last few months, but that's another discussion.

I didn’t say anything about that. I simply said not a single god damn QB has done anything of note at LSU under O.

Every year we do this to ourselves. O proved in his two years he runs the same stupid fucking offense Miles did.

I mean, how sad is it that when we now see a pass to a TE it’s like we spotted a unicorn?

It has been said that there was a difference of opinion between E and Jerry Sullivan over the offensive philosophy and that it was Sullivan who wanted the pro style. That Sullivan's way prevailed has to be on Oeaux. Let's hope E and Brady are able to be on the same page and work it out to the betterment of the ability to move the chains and be much more efficient in the red zone.

The spring game offensive mindset even if limited in what they showed is encouraging. If somebody would create a metric to measure the E-Brady production for the coming season vs the E-Sullivan approach the results would be interesting to see. Something like Wins and Yardage Above Replacement (WYAR).
