[ame="http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=6105146"]Ross Ohlendorf (1-11) defeats Pittsburgh Pirates in arbitration - ESPN[/ame]
Ohlendorf was awarded a raise from $439,000 to $2,025,000 Wednesday by arbitrators Steven Wolf, Fredric Horowitz and Robert Herzog, who heard the case a day earlier. The Pirates had argued he should be paid $1.4 million.

He was 1-11 with an era of 4.07
I'm going outside to work on my breaking ball right now.

4.0 is a decent ERA. W/L is totally irrelevant.

Wann hear something really stupid? Jeff Francoeur made 5 million last year. And he is among the worst everyday players in the game.

They are decided on team records not on pitcher's records. A pitcher's record is largely influenced by the team around him. Nolyn Ryan had a very average record, but dominated the game.
