I just saw Herb posted in another thread that he's Houston's coach. Houston was one of two bowl games I thought was a lock. There goes that one.

Other one is State over Wake (+5.5). Bet the farm.

rachell, honey, you know you have to dumb it down when speaking to men.

Houston was the only other no loss team until they got beat by SMU.....they ended up going 12-1 and if they would have been undefeated would probably have went to the sugar bowl....

And gotten smashed by an SEC team. They should beat Penn St. who's just looking to get this season over with amidst the neg publicity.

Houston sports a pretty resume until you stop and look below the surface. They did not play one single ranked team all season. That season opening win over UCLA looked good but c'mon, it's the Pac.

Oh ok, so he is going to bring his offensive system to the SEC. Doesn't he run the spread or what kind of offensive system was that, Andre Ware I believe along with the QB from this year. How is it I remember Andre Ware and not their QB from this year? lol
This should be very interesting, I believe some were debating if his system would work as well in the SEC. He might have had his last Heisman candidate ever at QB!

He's gonna bust in the SEC. That wide open passing Chit doesn't cut it here. He better learn to run the ball successfully.

I just did a quick search. He was at Oklahoma before going to Houston but he spent two seasons as an assistant at Texas A&M some time before going to OU.

Has some pretty impressive accomplishments and though he's known for offense, he was a linebacker when he played. Also has "Big game" experience.
