Time to enjoy some LSU classics from yesteryear. I claim no ownership of these highlights; they are all on youtube. But I'm starting this thread to make them available to the brethren here....
1986. Granny Holtz brings Tim Brown and the Irish into Tiger Stadium. This game featured one of the greatest goalline stands ever.

    Tim Brown was something else.

Wendell Davis was simply incredible in that game. What a clutch receiver.

    My all-time favorite LSU receiver.

Love watching old footage like this. There's just no better venue in America then TS on Sat. night when the crowd is into the game like they were on that goal line stand. Awesome!

LSU vs Alabama, 1982. Tons of nostalgia in this one. Legion Field, Bear's Wishbone offense against an insanely good LSU defense, and the nation begins to learn about the Dalton-James gang.

Oh, and that's Paul Hornung and Jimmy Taylor on the TV call.

One of my hometown friends, Rogie Magee on the touchdown pass (Notre Dame game). Rogie used to come to our house on Aster Street and hang out with us. Cool dude.

BTW, it was Roe Gee, hard "o", not soft "o".

@KyleK In that case, I don't think I ever heard an announcer get it right.

It was a rare thing for them to get it right.

Rogie was cool with it though.
