I'll admit that I'm ridiculously biased, but some of the traditions for LSU football games seem to be unequaled and in a few cases can be original. The angles that it captured of the band marching down the hill before the Auburn game really showed how hyped the fans were and showed the nation one of our rituals. The drum cadence before they stop for "Hold That Tiger" is alright too. I'm not sure if I've seen it elsewhere, but the bit they play when the "D" holds on 3rd or 4th down and the crowd participation that follows seems original. The touchdown song is always a good one and you could hears the letters of T-I-G-E-R-S like never before on TV last week. To keep this from being too long, my last one I'll mention is Tiger fans on the road that do the "GEAUX" and "TIGERS" banter back and forth. I've seen this in all kinds of strange places across the south. In away stadiums, of course, but also back and forth across bars, restaurants, swimming pools (after a big CWS Omaha game), and even across the street to each other. There are certainly exceptions, but most Tiger fans that travel often represent the university well. There are always more misfits that stand out at home games, but fans on the road are usually friendlier but just as inspired. They may introduce themselves with a few "Tiger Baits" but throw in a "That Stephens sure plays hard." Most comments can even be good natured if it sounds like this, "Fulmer may look like he's from Arkansas, but his record speaks for itself." Because of exposure obviously, I am biased but I'd like to hear some other favorite traditions of LSU fans and also Vols or whoever out there. National media always forces the same images like Rocky Top over and over again that you don't hear of other unique things. THERE'S NOTHING LIKE COLLEGE FOOTBALL
