    Both teams have open dates.

IMO, I think it would be more benficial for LSU to have this game pushed back and then we get an off week and then MSU, in preparation for Georgia and Florida road games.

You are probably right, but AU tends to play very flat early in the season. Tubby, the idiot that he is, usually pushes the passing game too much early in the year and that always gets AU in trouble. So it could be better for LSU to get AU early, the only thing I like about the push is a week's rest and practice before hitting MissSt, GA, and FL.

Other than that I feel we match up well with AU.

I'm all for the AU game being pushed back. I don't feel like we're ready yet, and UGA and Florida are less important when it comes to making it back to Atlanta. We really need to beat AU to go to the SECCG.

And the way it's looking, it's entirely possible that our game will be postponed.

Play ball if possible, if you're not ready you don't deserve to win. IMO we will be ready but not nearly a finished product.

Why would the game be pushed back again? Hurricane I'm assuming?

I think we're ready.....and if we're not this game will help us in the long run anyway especially for russell. I think our defense is gonna shut down brown and williams anyway just like last year.

These latest projected paths have it coming VERY close to Louisiana now.... I was wondering... If this storm hits Louisiana and causes major problems for the state, do you all think the game would still be played, although it is at Auburn?

Imagine yourself being without power, the neighborhood clutterred with debris... Arggggg! I'd drive as far as I had to to watch the game.
