(Non-LSU) "The Gantlet" (CBS Sportsline Needs a Copyeditor, apparently)

    LOL...main College FB page has the obviously-misspelled title to yet another BS, "The SEC is too tough for real national title contenders to emerge..."

    Only problem is at least one SEC team has legitimately been in the running for a title game spot going into the final BCS weekend (conference title games) each and every year since 2002, at least (Georgia, LSU, Auburn, LSU).

    I guess the SEC is too tough for a team to emerge except when it isn't, eh?

    Anyway, it's funny that a major site like CBS could have such a majorly-obvious misspell so prominently displayed... and have it appear above the pic yet another obvious mistake, the Auburn football team. :)

    Actually, gantlet is a variation of gauntlet. They share very similar meanings. "Running the gantlet" is just not how we suthurnuhs say it. We prefer to use gauntlet.
