    Are they naked and dumped out in some forsaken part of the world? Yes. Did they survive and exit without producer help? No. If you watch long enough, you'll start to see a pattern emerge. It's always just the last day or so before extraction and they seem to be starving to death and yet magically some sort of food supply magically appears. There have been a few episodes where people have gotten injured but let's be real, as many shows as there have been, if they were really out there on their own without any sort of protection, there would have been more injuries.

    Makes for good TV though

    Reality tv is too scripted for me. The only one I enjoyed was the precursor to Survivor where teams race across country. I remember one where they had to cross an Indonesian island. It was truly brutal. The same guy who produced Survivor did it.
