So Bobby comes running to the defense of Phil Robertson, claiming his free speech is under attack, (Which it wasn't, nice try Bobby) but uses yours and my tax dollars to sue moveon.org for putting up a billboard telling Louisiana how Jindal refused 1.65 billion from the federal government for Medicaid. Which by the way is fucking retarded. Both moves are fucking retarded. It's no wonder Louisiana ranks around last in everything that's important, and around first in everything shitty. So, claim Phil's free speech is being attacked, then sue others for exercising their right to free speech. Sounds about right. Is someone going to unseat this fucking stooge or what? Just to be clear, I may have completely made up the part about our tax dollars being spent for this lawsuit when in fact I have no fucking clue where the money comes from.
I think this is a libel/slander issue. The Medicaid expansion would build massive new costs into the system which the state could not possibly afford once the federal dollars dried up. Refusing it is sound policy. One of only a few from Boby.
So he says, but he hasn't made a convincing case for it, especially leaving that much federal money behind, which other states are happy to spend at home.
The KPMG, Boston Consulting, and McKinsey studies all agreed. Unless you can poke holes in their respective methodologies, I'll stick with the consensus of the experts.
They are suing MoveOn.org for trademark infringement. According to an article in NOLA.com, Jay Dardenne said: They are not suing for attacking the governor, they are suing for trademark infringement. I'd be pissed to. La. has spent a ton of $ on the marketing campaign.
