Came across this article and thought I'd post it. Man, we have had some pretty dramatic wins. Miles must have tons of good karma stored away. I guess the old adage is true. It's better to be lucky than good. And, luck is when preparation meets opportunity (or something like that).

One thing you can say about Les Miles, it hasn't been boring these past 5+ seasons.

No doubt and that's not even the complete list. There's an OT win at Bama in (I think) '06 and I want to say another OT win in TS against Tenn, but that one might not have been under Miles.

just keep in mind clay travis is a big time Tenn guy.

edit: i wrote that before i even read it. and man, sour grapes abound. it's almost like every close win LSU ever had in the last 5 years is because of luck. it's a shame he forgot to mention how LSU lucked it's way in wins over VT, Ohio State, Miami, GT, ND, and the likes.

or how LSU was so lucky with the refs at AU or peterson's INT vs bama.

my only consolation was this was written before saturday's game and i hope this DB had a hissy fit after the game.

November 12th, 2005. I know because that was the day I got married. Still haven't forgiven my wife for that one.

This is my favorite part of the article....

Unless you count the last five games (offense, anyway).

This tells me that we have a chance to win every time out. Your Sabans, Meyers and Petersons would have lost at least 3 of those 10.
