    Thanks for stoping by....

We tell people we are the largest LSU forum on the Internet because we are.

We offer the LSU community the largest variety of forums to meet other LSU community members and discuss issues that we are interested in. If we don't have a forum for a topic we are always willing to consider suggestions from our members.

We also use the latest message forum software on the market, which offers our users a variety of features. It is the most user-friendly message board software and enables visitors to follow certain topics or "threads" for as long as they wish.

We also allow a variety of opinions to be posted, not just the one’s we agree with. Posts like yours would be deleted on other forums but not ours. We believe in freedom of expression, which gives TigerForums.com members the opportunity to form their own opinions based on the content of the message.

I'm sorry you think it sucks. We are new and have a rapidly growing community that will only get better.

You're more than welcome to continue visiting and contributing your comments although if your first post is any indication of the type of discourse you'd contribute, we'd all probably better off if you found somewhere else to post your thought provoking opinions.

    Best Regards,

    **Update**
As I suspected, this message was posted by a very "well respected" administrator from another LSU message board. I guess he ran out of messages to delete that he didn’t agree with on his forum and decided to share some of his LSU knowledge with us.

It bothers me that this is a fellow LSU Tiger fan. I would certainly expect this from the fan of a rival school but not one my fellow Tiger fans; pretty sad.

This type of post is precisely the reason TigerForums.com was created. So LSU Tiger fans could have an alternative to the virtual monopoly a certain LSU board has for over 5 years.

Hopefully this “well respected” board administrator from another LSU forum will stick to harassing his own members because he’s certainly not going to continue doing it over here.

I apologize to TigerForums.com visitors for this little “soap opera” but it needs to be made clear what is going on. Thanks for your understanding.

I like your format (being able to read all of the comments on one page) much more than the many of the other boards where you have to click on each headline to see the comments.

I'm generally just a reader, not a poster (and your board needs posters). I hope some posters will begin coming over and your board succeeds.

    Thanks TigerJeff,

We are only several weeks old which explains our small number of posts.

We are doing all we can to get the word out about TigerForums.com to the LSU community.

A forum such as this has three basic legs to stand on.

    1) The forum software. The software we use to run TigerForums.com is widely considered to be the best available. It is loaded with features for users and is extremely fast. It enables LSU fans to engage and keep track of various discussions of their choice. You can discover all of the features by clicking on the "Control Panel" button at the top of the page.

    2) The forum's philosophy. Our philosophy is simple; Give TigerForums.com users the freedom to say what they want to say. Other forums consistently delete their user's messages if the message doesn't tow the "party" line. What good is a forum if the only opinions you read are those of one side? Take a look at certain other forums and half of their messages posted are about "Why was my post deleted?" or "Mods...please delete this post immediately"

When you spend 10-15 minutes composing a thoughtful message, you want to be heard. I can’t tell you how many people stopped posting messages (myself included) on other forums because they knew that one of the moderators would immediately delete it because it contained thoughts that weren’t of the prevailing opinion.

We practice freedom of speech and expression. TigerForums.com is a forum where your voice will be heard.

    3) The forum's members. This is the third leg that we have no control over. We have created, in my opinion, the best forum in the world for the LSU community to meet and discuss any issue they choose.

It is up to our members to make TigerForums.com their own and spread the word about it. Other forums have been around for years so of course they are going to have more users. It is up to people to decide if they want to be a part of a community that only allows one point of view or a part of our community that allows all of it’s members to have a voice. I think people will choose the Tiger Forums but it takes time to get the word out.

Thanks for joining and I hope you will continue to visit and post. We’ll be here for a long time and I hope you’ll help us spread the word about TigerForums.com.
