http://www.usatoday.com/sports/college/football/sec/2003-11-07-olemiss-mclendon_x.htm Ole miss might get Stripped the games he played in and that would give the Gators 1 SEC lose(assuming if we beat USC)and we would play yall.
I think currently Georgia is still favored if they win out. I don't see how Tennessee could move more than 5 spots ahead of Georiga, that is unless georgia loses.
LSU will still go, regardless of whether or not OM is stripped of a victory. We'll have identical SEC West Records if we win out and beat Ole Miss. By virtue of our head to head win, we'll hold the necessary tiebreaker to head to Atlanta.
The Memphis newspaper is like the home town newspaper for Ole Miss. They are running stories almost daily about the possiblity of big problems for Ole Miss. Now, when we beat Ole Miss they will have a built-in excuse, i.e. that the players were distracted.
Oh great! Now the NCAA is going to decide who plays in the SEC Championship game? I guess I should have seen this coming as Florida is the conference's little darlings (see the game tape of the Florida vs LSU game for more complete description). I would LOVE to see a rematch in Atlanta where redemption will be forthcoming and brutal. IF...IF Florida does play LSU again, my prediction: LSU 42 Florida 13. WE OWE YOU A BIG ONE! But if things stay the same, Tennessee has the edge to go to Atlanta since they have beaten both Florida AND Miami and will be as high as 6th in the next BCS standings. I wonder if a LSU win over Tennessee in the SEC championship will be enough to vault them past USC and into the Sugar Bowl...assuming LSU and Tennessee win out?
