Anybody here think Nick is able to field a winner and make the playoff's his first year ?

I see maybe 6-10 or 7-9 his first year.

His second year they will have a winning record.

I am anxious to see how he relates to his team as a Head Coach in the NFL and see what he does the first time one of the Miami premadonas gets out of line.

    16-0; Super Bowl Run :hihi:

Probably 6-10, 5-11, but maybe 7-9. No way they get to the playoffs, but that stuff takes time.

Makes no sense to make prognostications until we see what free agents and draft choices Miami is able to pick up.

Namely a QB, RB and O-lineman.

    Then we can talk.

At this point, this team is no better than 4-12. A solid pickup at QB (Brees maybe?) and RB (probably the draft....e.g., Benson) and Miami could be back to playing .500 ball easily, 9-7 at best. Remember, this is now the toughest conference in all of football with Buffalo making their late run and great defense, and the Jets being solidly coached.

I'm a (somewhat now ashamed) Fins fan, and see them no better than 6-10. islstl is right, there's so much unknown right now, it's tough to say.

Facing NE, NYJ, & Buf. Hard to say anything above .500. I'd say 7-9.

Don't forget they have to come to the dome to face the fearless SAINTS!

    Anyone goin to be there?

Miami is a really bad team. No way will Saban be able to turn this team into a winning team in one offseason, if he is even capable of doing so. Not to mention they also play in the toughest division in the NFL with the Patriots, Bills, and Jets. Saban is fresh meat to these teams right now, the odds are against him right now.
