Today, like most bowl days, I am purely excited. None of my thoughts on coulda, shoulda, woulda … A return to what's truly important: watching this team fight! The bowls are special in that it reminds me to enjoy each game individually and forget the records. Each one a blessing if you are paying attention. So today I look forward to some of my favorite things: · An acrobatic and impossible catch by Landry · Beckham juking someone out of their shorts and racing down the field · Watching a future NFL running back play one more game in a Tiger uniform (hopefully there are more to come) · Johnson crushing someone, anyone, and then stomping the field with fury · Watching a young QB set the tone for his team and his challengers both today and for the battles to come both internally and externally · A big Tiger Victory effectively throwing down the spear for all those that are on the schedule in 2014! Happy New Year!!! Geaux Tigers!! If ya need help ... try this on for size: http://www.dandydon.com/media_gallery.php?tab=most_recent&id=176
I hope we beat the dog shit out of them. Anything short of that and I'll be disappointed. I know, I know...new quarterback, quality opponent, etc. I expect our young qb to lite it up with both his arms and legs. Tiger fans will be masturbating all off-season.
Yes. Psyched for the game. Would be great to get the W and start off 2014 on a high note. Then, get a recruiting haul tomorrow!
A little more info. Due to the loss of Ego, if a DT is needed, the staff plans to pull the Red-Shirt off of this player... http://www.lsusports.net/ViewArticl...DB_OEM_ID=5200&ATCLID=206272962&Q_SEASON=2013 I know at times during the year, Jordan Allen was kicked inside to play DT.
I hope the team is amped up for the game. I also hope Miles did some coaching in this month off. It's time to stop this bowl loss streak and Iowa is a team that LSU should beat.
