Having it done this month. Surgeon is doing ulnar transposition. Just like to know reaction, recovery time, etc. Thanks.
Under skin or under muscle for the surgery? My bro-in-law had it done. He had some numbness for awhile and tingling in a couple fingers for a few weeks. Overall I think his recovery time was around 6 weeks but I don't remember for sure.
I colleague of mine had it done and it was pretty straightforward with no complications. I don't recall that the recovery period was all that long. But you may never pitch in the major leagues, amigo.
Isn't that the same surgery that Josh Beckett had? He pitched a no hitter a couple of weeks ago. He no longer has the blazing fast ball he had when he was a Red Sox but he still can pitch with movement and location
Don't listen to him Mr. neuman, I can still fire a fastball at 88 and my breaking ball drops to the dirt over the plate. My curve ball is unhittable for those our age. You sir, have a future of promise.
Thanks, that's good to know. Researched it a bit, but don't know anyone personally that's had it done. I have to go to Maryland for the surgery since there are no specialists here. Surgeon is a civilian, doesn't really know the difference between a major, sergeant or petty officer, which I liked.
Shoot, man, I'm happy to just throw the football around with my boys. If you're still throwing like that then I suppose there's hope.
Good question. She said she'll make that determination once she gets in there, depends on how much sub-cutaneous fat I have in my arm. I don't have a lot, but certainly more than I did 10 years ago.
