LSU plays #4 ranked Louisville (which is a 3 seed in this region). ESPN Sunday 1:30 CST. The game is being played in Louisville. If they manage to win that game, they play the winner of Tennessee/Maryland.
Tough, hard fought win for the women last night. I watched a lot of the game on TV. They fought through some adversity last night -- shots not falling, tough D by WVU, a nice rally by WVU, injuries and foul trouble to pull out a solid win. With about 4:00 left on the clock, we were down by about 6 or 7 points, and our girls looked gassed. Was real surprised they pulled it out. Advancing to the Sweet 16 is always a good thing! GEAUX TIGERS!
Congrats! I used to follow the women's program closer a few years ago but haven't for the past couple of seasons. Good to see that they are heading in the right direction.
