I wonder if the GOP will ever admit this has nothing to do with policy, or decisions but a deep seeded hatred for Obama, and is be willing to bet that around 60-65% feel that way because he is black.

If Obama wanted to get his entire agenda passed, he would come out and say he is against everything he is for.

It's pretty sad and the GOP is starting a dangerous game. They have started this game that will end up being permanent gridlock in Washington. If I were a democrat and a republican were elected for the next president, I would act just like they have, filibuster everything, be divisive and lie at every turn. Do what ever it took to make their candidate fail, even though it's not the right thing to do, and I would have damn sure prosecuted the Bush administration because you know it's coming when Obama leaves the White House.

What the hell has happened to the Republican Party. They used to be the smart party. They used to be great. Now they are disgusting. I really hope the young repubs in this country start seeing this and change because I really don't like democrats, I just loathe republicans.

And for the record I mean politicians when I speak in those terms, my whole family is comprised of former repubs and repubs, and they will even admit that this GOP is full of fucking corporate shills, liars cheats, racists and sexists.

If you wanna impeach the President, impeach him for something legit. Which he hasn't done, he hasn't lied to get us into wars, and he didn't institute tax cuts that crippled our economy.

I know 99.9% of this board will disagree with me and i respect your opinions, most of you anyway. But this guy has done nothing to warrant impeachment.

Well, I haven't read into what is going on with S. Dakota but I can guarantee that it has less to do with him being black and everything to do with him being a criminal and a shitty president. At least that would be my assessment because his skin color really has less than shit to do with it in my eyes.

Politics is all about pretty speeches, slight of hand, and trick of eye. Presidents live their first term in glory, if they get re-elected, it is all about keeping your head above water. At least that is the way has been since Reagan.

It's not racist. The article itself includes Republicans who dislike his policies but don't approve of impeachment.

Things have changed for sure. I don't like either party.

So is the Dem party. You have to start seeing politicians for who they are. It has nothing to do with party affiliation.

It's symbolic and mostly stupid IMO. The impeachment card has jumped the shark.

I don't know if it counts but the VA scandal is looking about as criminal as it gets.

For people on this board I don't think it's a race thing. But for the politicians you bet your ass it's a race thing. If Obama was a white guy the only way this would happen would be if he was boning some white girl in the White House.

What possible evidence do you have that this particular case has anything to do with race? The article included information about Republicans in South Dakota who did NOT support an impeachment. Is it so hard to believe that after Benghazi, the IRS, the VA, Obamacare, Bergdahl, and now Iraq, that some folks are flat out tired of him?

For me, thinks like the VA are endemic and it comes from the top. Where does the buck stop?

To find out now that administrators were not only openly lying about meeting appointment mandates, they lied about vets who actually died while waiting to be seen. Whistleblowers are talking about fear, recrimination, unrealistic goals, and earning performance bonuses. The President sits at the top of all that. And now the IRS has "lost" the Lerner emails. When does it stop with this administration?

Is it a culpable act of criminal behavior? No. Is it criminal what has happened? Hell yes.
