Yeah I did. I'm not sure what his assessment was but it seemed it wasn't very calculated. I didn't watch much cause it's so fake when they pull gators up. I've been on a gator hunt and they don't fight at all. In fact Sensation and I were talking about that this past weekend, wondering how they even get the gators to put up such a fight. I went on a hunt with a cheerleader at McNeese and we let her shoot them. She was athletic, obviously, but didn't have any experience with gators whatsoever, and had never even shot a pistol. We have her an H&R .22 and as soon as the gator's head broke the water she popped 'em.
Having friends on the Govs Wife and First 48, yes most of it is staged. Having relatives on Swamp People, I was told the story, while filming, the camera man was trying to get a better angle look and fell out of the boat almost on top of a Gator, the Gator not knowing what was going on, went nuts. Troy yelled, shoot, ok, choot em, but don't hit the camera man. Lucky they didn't have a loss of a camera or camera man on that one.
I was down in Pierre Part yesterday for a quick trip. Need to stop in, check on Troy and the crew, my next trip down there. Should see my friend from the First 48 later today. Got him some Boudin from La.
Made a trip down to Pierre Part today, next month is Gator season. My friends and relatives are getting ready. Hope they have a great season, an a safe one
