I didn't want to watch the replay but he was carted off.

He was actually walking off the field with a slight limp and then his left knee appeared to totally collapse on him. I assume the scrum he was involved in on the play caused it and then when he tried to walk off the field, it was obviously something serious. Seems like a torn ligament of some kind to me.

Just saw it and it was bad looking, shouldn't have a star returning punts unless that's the dude's only function.

Didnt see it but heard he strung out the play and put himself in a bind. Hope he heals up for next year.

Also it was a free kick after a safety, not a punt, and I think he was an upback rather than the deep man.

I wish that made me feel better but at least I don't have to hate Arizona's special teams coach now I guess.

Arizona has arguably played some of the best defense in the NFL these past several weeks (after facing the Saints).

Mathieu was a huge part of it.

Torn ACL and LCL per NFL radio network on Sirius XM.

Fucking hate it for him but if anyone can overcome it he can.

I'm actually concerned with him getting into trouble because of being away from the team with his rehab and everything. Remember Cecil Collins? He actually appeared to be turning his life around with the Dolphins and then he got injured. All hell broke loose and he found himself in prison shortly thereafer.

Not trying to compare TM7 to Cecil Collins. But the chance is there for him to slip.

    Idle minds.
