Not only that but only about 80% of the people who have signed up have paid. It seems t o me with all of the issues so far and the continuous delays implemented by the president that supporters should admit that it is full of problems and needs serious repair. Those of us who are against it in its present form need to find ways to improve the health care system.

Still a big pile of garbage. Oh and those that are planning on opting out and just paying the $95 fine should read the fine print. It is only a $95 fine if you are single with no dependents and make poverty level money. If you are anything else it is 1% of your income.

I went on the website the other day and did a search just for shits and giggles. I almost shit and I for sure didn't giggle. $650 a month with a $6500 deductible per individual. I wouldn't be able to feed my family with that plan.

Not so fast.....HHS quietly passed another exemption yesterday with absolutely no discussion in the national media. "the mandate suspension was buried in an unrelated rule that was meant to preserve some health plans that don't comply with ObamaCare benefit and redistribution mandates. Our sources only noticed the change this week.

That seven-page technical bulletin includes a paragraph and footnote that casually mention that a rule in a separate December 2013 bulletin would be extended for two more years, until 2016. Lo and behold, it turns out this second rule, which was supposed to last for only a year, allows Americans whose coverage was cancelled to opt out of the mandate altogether."

Turns out, folks are deciding on their own that it isn't the value they thought. "Meanwhile, a McKinsey & Company survey reports that a mere 27% of people joining the exchanges were previously uninsured through February. The survey also found that about half of people who shopped for a plan but did not enroll said premiums were too expensive, even though 80% of this group qualify for subsidies. Some substantial share of the people ObamaCare is supposed to help say it is a bad financial value. You might even call it a hardship."

Only 14% (280,000) of the AHCA sign ups are previously uninsured. That means this is a reshuffle of insured not a increase in the number of insured. The uninsured number has basically been unchanged. Most uninsured report they won't/can't sign up because of the cost of insurance under the AHCA standards.
    Not looking good folks.

If 14% are previously insured, then 86% were previously uninsured. What exactly is your point?
