People need to re-examine the big 12 after this game tonight. Look how bad Nebraska has been in recent years. Colorado made it in the Big 12 championship game this year after all their distractions and problems in the off season. Texas ATM hasn't been very good for some time. OU didn't give up a td since November until tonight and USC rolled all over them like a freight train. Time to get a clue because all the teams that use to be good in the Big 12 aint any more. :nope: Just maybe USC and the Pac 10 is better than the Big 12? 320 total yards for Usc in the first half :dis:
Not so fast my friend. Texas Tech beat the $hit out of #4 team in the country California. The same California team that dominated USC up and down the field. Every team hits a buzz saw and Oklahoma just choose to hit their's in the National Championship game. Bad timing. Oklahoma is not as bad as their showing tonight and USC is not as good as they look tonight. USC has prove they are the #1 team in the country tonight and much as it pains me to say it. Matt Leinart is absolutely flawless tonight. His performance is comparable to the performance that David Greene put on against us in Athens. Something you're in the zone and it is hard explain.
you got that right! Sabertooth, OU is that good? No way, overrated, Ok so their are 2 good teams in the Big 12 Texas Tech and OU. I will repeat what they said again, OU didn't give up a td since November, not even in the Big 12 Championship game. OU got beat by Kansas St last year in their championship game. They should not have played in this game last year or this year. Why is it they ran into a buzzsaw also last year in both championship games? I don't buy it, Nebraska, Colorado, Texas ATM and the Big 12 aint what it use to be. I'll take the SEC over both good teams in the Big 12 anyday. I think the big 12 is overrated
You forgot to mention Texas. Texas looked pretty impressive with their win over Michigan. You keep making comparison to last year. Last year is exactly what it is last year. The following information speaks volume: Conference Bowl Records: ACC 3-3 Big East 2-3 Big 10 3-3 Big 12 4-3 Conference USA 3-2 MAC 3-2 Mountain West 2-1 Pac 10 3-2 SEC 3-3 Sunbelt 0-2 WAC 2-2 Show me a dominant conference. It is called parity. If anything your argument does not hold water. The BIG 12 has a winning record in the bowls 4-3.
You are correct, I forgot Texas. There isn't alot of difference between 4-3 vs 3-3 however I am corrected I was just thinking that the big 12 use to be better with Nebraska, Colorado and Texas ATM which those teams aren't quite what they once was that is all.
The Big XII was a bit over-rated this year but please.....if USC had been in the Big XII or SEC this year....they would NOT have been undefeated
