Just back from Hotlanta... was there when we won at the Omni in 1986 and was happy to be there tonight with my son to witness a great LSU victory... It was an incredible experience to be there and see a group of young men that have been molded by a very good coaching staff take it to the so called elite schools we have always discussed on this forum... I have one question for the LSU administration...

WHERE THE HELL WERE OUR CHEERLEADERS!!!! They were a no show for us playing in the elite 8... I cannot imagine that we have any excuse for them not to be there... That continues to show that we have an administration that cannot have their act together in one of the most important games in the history of LSU basketball. Many of you will say big deal, but being there I thought it was a joke during timeouts that we didn't even have cheerleaders out there.

I saw girls. They were cheering. The cheers were leading the crowd. Hence they were cheerleaders.

Grow a set.. are you kidding me... can you imagine if we didn't have cheerleaders at a bowl game in football???

We had our dancers and that was it!!!.. I think that it was an embarassment. Texas had them... They were there Thursday night... This was the elite 8 to go to the final 4... Did it matter? Hell yes it did... Our crowd was separated from the band.. band on 1 side, crowd on other... As a devout LSU fan, our crowds can make a difference and the cheerleaders are part of that and they were MIA. Complaining is not what I am doing, bringing up the fact that our administration failed to provide cheerleaders at a game to play for the national championship is what i am upset about and I think it is a disgrace.

Dude, we won the game. It's not like it was a factor that hurt us.

I am really sorry, and this sounds harsh, but if you need the cheerleaders to get you pumped up, you are not a good fan of the sport or the team at all...

when I am at a bball game, that is the last thing I even notice...

Wow, smileys did not work. I will have to type in a specific message next time I joke with him saying something like <note: this is just a friendly joke, don't be offended!>

From what I understand, the cheerleaders were in San Antonio with the Lady Tigers. Since they can't be two places at once, LSU sent the Tiger Girls to Atlanta. The cheerleaders should be there on Saturday when we play UCLA.

And why the hell did they put our band on the opposite end of the arena from our fans?
