Bud Selig should have been canned so many years ago. Why they won't let Cuban buy this team is beyond me.

Because Cuban doesn't toe the line and stay under the commissioners thumb in the NBA. That scares the Hell out of Selig.

Once again, Selig needs to be fired. He should have been fired years ago, when he turned a blind eye to the steroid issue. If players can get fined, and slung through the mud for using steroids, then Selig's job should have been terminated.

Cuban has cash. Lot's of it. Baseball needs cash. MLB has become unwatchable unless you are in attendance, or it's Red Sox Yankees, or it's the post season. The old ways are dead, baseball needs to progress.

Problem is, they made too much $$$$ by allowing the juicers to rock the record books.

    Money talks.

FWIW I agree with you 100%.

As a resident of Dallas and a Cubs fan I can tell you I was ecstatic when the rumors of Cuban buying the Cubs died.
This guy is nothing more than a jock sniffing dork who has a ton of money. I will not question the guys business acumen. But him in sports is a bad thing.
His constant whining about refs like a soccer mom, him running on the court to join a fight like he is a player. his "trash talking".
His behavior after the Mavs won made me ill. he was holding the trophy and doing interviews like he won the darn thing. Look he did make the business deals to get that team. But please. He wants to be an "athlete" so bad it makes him embarrassing...

    I cannot stand Mark Cuban....

Maybe you can't but ask his players. Ask Mavericks fans. He would be great for the league. Who gives a crap if he doesn't toe the line and keep his mouth shut. Sometimes the league needs that.

Mark Cuban has what baseball needs. Money. And as a fan, I would want Mark Cuban as an owner of any, ANY team i rooted for.

But baseball is a snobby, "gentleman's" league. Which is another reason why it is inevitably doomed. No replay, can't keep up with the times, would rather sell teams on credit than with actual cash, a Pre Season football game gets better ratings than the World Series.

    MLB NEED MARK CUBAN.

I mean if the Dodgers had Mark Cuban do you think they would still owe Marquis Grissom a few million? He hasn't played for them for 10 years.
