These Pro Days (or private workouts) Wroten can get, the better off he is due to what he went through with the traffic stop, etc. (reguardless on if the charges were dropped)

That's a pretty good time for a DT, no? By comparison, Whitworth ran like a 5.14 at the combine--which was one of the faster times (if not the fastest) by all O-linemen.

4.5's aren't "blazing" anymore (by today's NFL standards), but it's certainly serviceable....Skyler's edge comes in quick cuts, etc.. For his size, the vertical looks pretty good.

He'll probably be considered as "a project" my most clubs, but if a team takes that chance, and he pans out for them, it could be considered a very good move considering most project him to be a late round selection, if not undrafted FA.

Am I the only one that thought he would post better numbers than that? I'm actually kind of shocked. I just assumed Cam was faster than 4.8. With that speed, and his over-all lack of experience playing MLB (having played OLB most of his career at LSU), he'll have to really show exceptional work ethic to move up in the draft--if he's drafted at all. But unless he improves some of those numbers, he might be forced to hope for a free agent contract....Considering Cutler wowed scouts by WANTING to do the bench press, and then putting it up, what? 20 times....looks VERY impressive for a QB and really sort of belittle's 17 reps by a would-be linebacker.

Prude might best be suited as a FS...or a special teams guy.

I hope someone gives him a shot. He's the type of player that you just love to pull for.

I can see him being a nickel or dime back.

    I would definately agree.

I think Addai's stock has soared since the combine.

I wouldn't read too much into the fourty times. Addai ran at the combine, which is known for being a fast track. If he ran it here, it probably would be around the same time as Bennie's. I would still take Bennie over Joe in a straight sprint though.

Actually, historically the combine has been known to produce slower 40 times, but there's no way in Hades that Sky ran a 4.5/40 unless he was jogging. He did better than that at the combine with a sore hammy. Someone needs to shoot whoever did ran the stopwatch.

I bet we see everyone a tenth of a second faster at the second Pro Day...

what "quick cuts"? his shuttle is the same as vaughn and slower than hollis.

i dont think its too surprising that JA was faster than bennie. bennie wasnt in the olympics for the 40. another 20 yds and bennie is much better--the 100, no contest.

Actually Skylers official numbers at the combine were both 4.55. And although there are probably 100 scouts hitting thier watches, the times are also kept electronically by an NFL official and reports are distributed to all NFL teams.

I think the Hamstring may still be bothering him. Unless the guys just plays faster than he is, which is possible, a lot of guys do.

If im not mistaken the 40 is more about power than pure speed, bennie would kill addai in the 100 yd dash

His hammy still bothers him. I talk sports and stuff with a family member quite often and I've been asking about Sky every chance I get. He's not yet 100% and the scouts/coaches know that. They know what he can do, but those times are gonna kill him. He should have stepped back until the next Pro Day, but he also has to answer questions about his durability.

Sky is going to be a late bloomer in the NFL like Jarvis...
