Pistol Pete's Game Used LSU Jersey on Auction

    This is the jersey believed to be the one he wore when he broke the record for scoring. Direct from his cousin. Also up for auction was a jersey he wore while with the NO Jazz.

    Mabey we should email Skip about the Jersey. LSU has been looking for this jersey for years but they could not find it. LSU could win the jersey and put it in the new LSU Sports Hall of Fame.

    His sophomore jersey was auctioned last year and brought over $100,000!!! This one is far more significant.

    I think that his purple road jersey (always my favorite) is in the LSU sports Hall of Fame, next to Cannon's white #20...

    ...I was an ecstatic 13 year old kid at the game that Pete broke Oscar's record. It was a magical night....

    That guy was UNBELIEVABLE. You didn't even really care that much if the Tigers won when you went to his games. You just wanted to see him do something with a basketball that had never been done before...

    ...if the Tigs won it was just icing on the cake...
