In light of this latest debacle, I have a WANT to know who I can give my attention to in the future concerning all-things LSU. I am just rattling some things off the top of my head, so please feel free to add to this list and chime in..

    UNreliable:
    1) ESPN
    - obviously 0-2 now with us. Kirk in 2007 blew it and Shaad blew it last night during the NCG last night.
    - biggest negative to me was how it potentially affected our players BEFORE a huge game (2007) and it how it possibly gave other programs to negatively recruit us this time around

    2) Pelican Sports
    - TK is mostly to blame here wanting to be the first one to break a "big story"
    - biggest negative to me was that it TOTALLY let the steam out of an otherwise HUGE win for our team. Also took the spotlight off the players (like Petersons announcement) and put it from Friday through Tuesday

    3) ANY other teams message boards!

    Reliable:
    1) Jordy Hultburg
    - he really has a unique perspective a's a reporter than I never realized until today honestly. The locker room meetings after games that he has seen over the years gives him the ability to read players and coaches that honestly few people have.

    2) Tiger Forums
    - I especially appreciate the insight of folks like Blehm and others that have been super consistent in their fair-minded posts

I guess honorable mention would go to that Reporter who Tweeted that several players told him Friday night that Miles told them he would be back. Turned out to be true and that guys deserves some props.

It is my belief that someone high up in ESPN does not like LSU very much. So dismiss them.
It is always good to read the Advocate or any newspaper in Louisiana because they are a DIRECT source. How does ESPN know whats goin on? They don't have any connections with LSU.
In reality most media is not always right and they fabricate the story but when dealing with LSU news its best to listen around locally.

He can't have a big enough helping. As stated in the OP, to immediately follow a great win with his yellow journalism, IMO, took a lot of the luster of that win away from

    1)Players
    2)Coaches
    3)Fans

The only way I'd be satisfied with his eating of crow is if he choked on it. He's in no uncertain terms, a hack. He should be fired immediately for that crap.

i can promise you 99% of the media has mis reported a story at least once or twice in their careers...i dont believe TK has a history of this. But hey, if ya dont like him, ya dont like him.

If you say so, but he was CLEARLY trying to scoop a story that wasn't there. With journalism SHOULD come integrity. Who was this "source" he was willing to put his "journalistic reputation" on the line for?
    -
All he had to do was say he has a source saying XYZ, but without the graphic on the bottom saying Miles to Michigan, as though it was fact. And he stonewalled any caller that tried to call him on it Friday night. And again, instead, they should've been talking about the Cotton Bowl win!! If he was smart, he would've held it an hour or so, spending the first hour talking about the great win, waiting for his sources to be verified.
