I don't think there are any freshmen on the roster who have EVER faced the talent they are going to face this Saturday. That being said....I thought this would be an interesting poll.
Whether he's ready for facing this kind of talent for the first time, Landry, ready or not, is probably going to play the most of the freshman. Because we're a little banged up in the secondary, his ability to play within himself and keeping his head in the game, will be huge.
I was going to go with Matthew Broderick, but since he has been left off of this list I will take Justin Vincent. He looks like a great runner, but I'm curious if he can make those moves whil carryong a komodo dragon.
I voted for Daniels. He seems to know the secondary better than the other freshmen right now. Saban said recently that Jesse was further along right now because "he played DB in high school" and Laron played quaterback. Don't know if those were his exact words. But wasn't is Daniels who blew the coverage that led to the Western Illinois Touchdown?
